Lots of BS winners coming out. Mainly on Facebook with photoshopped tickets claiming to give $10K to 10 random people to anybody who follows them on social media.

To say I don't understand millenials is an understatement

 

Eh I'm very tech savvy and I've never even made a Facebook account. I don't really see the need.

Well, my first 4 weeks as an IC are in the books now. I think I'm doing ok considering I'm a brand new owner and new to Schneiders computer system. The learning curve is a bit steep, as far as learning the lanes, but I feel more confident each day. My next goal is to start doing more and more short hauls. I have booked 9 loads in 3 days next week. They pay just over 2k in revenue for 680 miles.

But, the numbers don't lie. What do you guys think?

1st week: orientation week, 3 days actual work

719.94 profit

2nd week: 4 days off due to xmas
1,361.55 revenue
(663.17) expenses
698.38 profit

3rd week: my first 7 day week
3,015.99 revenue
(1,844.66) expenses
1,171.33 profit

4th week: also 7 days, paid out today
3,343.77 revenue
(1,805.37) expenses
1,538.41 profit

 

Not bad. What market are you running in right now with those numbers? How far out in advance are you booking your loads?

Overall for just starting that looks pretty good.
