I am just wondering what the valve set procedure is and what the lash is on a 2008 mercedees mbe 4000 engine. I am very familiar with the Detroit 60 series set procedure as well as the electronic cats. I am going to assume with #1 at top center 3 intakes are set and 3 exhaust are set then rotate 360 for the rest. I just don't know which ones are adjusted on what tdc. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you very much Animosus. I am a mechanic for my local municipality and replacing the high pressure lines with the update so covers are off makes sense to adjust them. One other question I just thought of is where is tdc pointer on the mbe4000 line on harmonic and front cover pointer, or on flywheel viewed from under truck?

    It's on the flywheel.
