on this 'surprise physical', did you take a breathalyzer? Or did someone draw blood?

See, the reason why everyone is puzzled is because as far as I know an alcohol test is not part of the DOT physical. I have never taken an breathalyzer or had blood drawn to get the physical card. Now on a random drug and alcohol test, that's a completely different animal. You blow on a straw and piss in a cup and leave.
So what exactly did you do in this exam? Be honest.

 

Try a few second chance companies and take their physical with their doctor.

 

If you're still shaking the next day after drinking, you're still drunk. That signals a major problem for any employer, to know that you can't limit your alcohol consumption. I highly doubt anyone drove you to the physical, so that's not good, either.
