Well I guess I am going to take my chances with CT. I start orientation Monday. Maybe I will get lucky with the dispatcher.

Looking at a 1900 mile week up to Chicago and back(Mon-Fri). The truck is supposed to idle when it gets below 20 degrees, but mine wouldn't idle until it got to 10degrees. Violated my 11 by seven minutes because I couldn't get parked at the visitor center in Fredericksburg VA. Could have stopped in Front Royal I-66 a couple hours earlier, but with that storm looming, I didn't want to chance getting trapped up there. At the Ladysmith VA rest area exit 107 on I95. Will leave at 0430 for Lowes Garysburg NC and beat the storm. Hopefully.

 

Is there a secret for keeping the voltage up on the battery without freezing to death or getting up several times a night to crank the engine?? No confidence in EPUs.

 

Your bunk heaters don't work? The only thing I consistently miss about cargo.

 

Just be happy you missed DC Wednesday night. Less than one inch of snow turned to ice, hundreds of accidents and the beltway was lined with trucks who gave up trying to get anywhere!

 

Yes, I missed it but caught a little ice in Rocky Mount NC. Luckily, I took my foot off the pedal and let go of the steering wheel and she straightened out in a couple of seconds. Look ma! No hands!! Sunday night gotta late pickup at QVC Suffolk at 11pm for a 10am drop in Horsham PA Monday morning.Uggy!! Uy Vey.

 

I270 closed along with 70 between 695 and 81. MD State Police are going to issue anyone on state roads tickets if they cannot prove they are emergency personnel. All three airports are closed through Monday at this time. I have measured about three feet of snow on my street.
