Where would you go

Unless I need fuel, I prefer the mom and pop. Change of scenery. But sometimes the showers are sketchy.

 

None of the above.

I go home. Or I look for a hotel with truck parking.

 

Mom & Pop could be hit & miss but could also be very nice experience, while TA Petro or Flying J is consistently the same throughout the country.

 

Shower at the TA then go eat and sleep at the Mom and Pop.

Out of all the chain stops, my favorite is the STA MARTS. unfortunately, it is a northern midwest chain. Great showers, consistent good food, and adult beverages for those of us that dont need handholding. The best Petros are in the same area.

If a truckstop doesnt have a restaurant, i dont stop. If there isnt a full service truck stop on my route, i will stop at a mom and pop fuel stop before I go to a Lose or a Peelot. Lot less idiots. The way bottomfeeders cram in to a Lose is like reading about Noah's ark. It has to be the end of the world if they dont get parked in there.

 

I fuel where it's the cheapest or biggest discount then go and eat at my and pops. I like truck world in pa that's my favorite

 

I rarely fuel on the road therefore:

1. Mom and Pop (Jennie's in the Gap, Midway Diner in Bethel, PA, Longways in Watertown, or the one in Harford, PA or the one in Bath, NY on I-390).
2. TA/Petro
3. FJ and Pilot can go to hell for two reasons;
a) it's a collection of idiots in there
b) any company that steals fuel points from its' customers doesn't deserve my business.
