Any current updates on whether this is a good company to work for? Pay? I'm looking at moving from odessa TX to Dayton Ohio area. Oils down and wife and I decided it's a good time to go elswhere. Her families there. Bad part is trucking don't pay ####. I'm leaving oil field so I understand it's gunna drop but I hear things like 800 take home and good money in the same sentence. It's bs. Should be making at least 1000 after taxes and ins. Should I look into another career? Am I chasing a unicorn trucking company? I see Boyd and tmc has adds for that area. But I've read enough about tmc. Doesn't seem like they make anything. How's boyd?

Not gonna make that kind of money. Unless you are willing to lower your expectations I wouldn't do it you may want to try a different career path. I know someone who is a plumber and makes 80K.

Hey Invictus, if you can look for another career,I would do it, I've watched trucking go right down the ole sh$Ter in the last 40 years.Any skilled trade I think would be a much better option in the long run, for your health and your family.

Trucking don't pay ####? Hope you have a college degree and some contacts if you think $800 take home is crappy pay. You might be in for a rude awakening.
