I haven't been able to find any specific info about this particular run, but I know it is coming out of a Walmart DC and runs anywhere from Ohio up to Buffalo, over to Philly, and down to Virginia. It sounds logical that I would be back daily but yeah, there's always the chance it isn't anything like that. But ... like I said, the guy told me several things I did not want to hear when he could have just lied to me. I believe he was being honest with me.
Once I can go solo I'll run OTR anywhere between Honolulu and Moscow. -
well looks like I'm going to Western Express I go for orientation on Monday. Thanks to you guys on this site for helping me out on finding my first trucking job.
-
Best wishes; you'll do ok there. Don't pay any attention to the crybabies working there; all trucking companies have their share of crybabies.

yeah I kinda seen all the videos on YouTube. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can .Chinatown Thanks this.

Do you suspect why you didn't qualify? Not enough experience? driving record? Unstable work history?
Prime is not exactly a 5 star company with a waiting list. -
Yeah I do know for prime was for not having 5 years from discharging probation. And for swift wes for my record.

Depending on what your charges are and how many that you have, it's not a matter of if you were charged but rather how long ago. I would discuss the details of your charges with a recruiter before applying. And don't give them your real name either until you feel comfortable with applying for the job. You may have to apply to some companies with a 1 or 2 star rating so to speak until you can build some time behind the wheel and demonstrate your worthiness. It can be done but cleaning up the wreckage of our past takes time. I know because I had license suspensions and everything else when I was younger and I too had to settle for less until I got tired of it. I had an accident in 1981. It took 3 yrs before anyone worth bragging about would give me a chance. Today I have an unblemished record with 35 yrs of experience. Now they simply ask me, "When can you start.?
Like the Marines...A good driving record is earned/ never given! -
Yeah man I hear you but I got lucky at I'm going to western express I'm going to work my but off.No names left Thanks this.

Good deal! Set some goals and remember that you are not the first person to make mistakes nor will you be the last. You have to reinvent yourself! Best wishes
