Maybe I'm just not too smart, but how do you know your minimum expense per mile? Seems to me, the more you drive, the lower that number will get. If you have a low mile month, you've got to make more per mile. I've just never understood this way of trying to figure things. I look at a per day, or week scenario.

If I eat a second avacado & can of soup while they are loading me, I will increase my expenses by $1.15 this trip. Forgot the crackers, add another $.03.

Making about $1500 to $1700 week after all expenses, with $200 abouts week in maintenance kitty, before taxes, in the dead of winter with rates in the toilet.
I have no ####ing clue, but I try to be careful, not beat the truck, and keep an eye on the Lord.
With the dispatcher I have, I talk to the Lord a lot.

I just spent $10 for chicken and a subway too, they gave me the coffee .
So this trip is probably a bust.
I think it's kinda funny that your analytical minds ( huh?) didn't even ask for how many miles or what type of freight.
    LOL
    Good luck bud.
