My adventures at CRST Malone

So contract is signed orientation is done I'm headed to Cedar Rapids for my truck. I have never been to an orientation where the entire office staff comes out and thanks you for coming to work with them. The operations staff that came to talk with us in class was up front and honest didn't sugar coat anything either. Very happy I made this decision so far

 

the reason Iam asking about how are they doing the trucks is my recruiter told me you get a gold truck and not quality trucks,i was thinking she was not up to date

 

No they aren't doing any trucks with quality that only lasted about a week. Your truck will be assigned and you'll pick it up site unseen. Don't let that discourage you tho. I was told by operations that if you get a truck you don't like they'll put you in another one as they become available but you will have to run the one you get until then. That being said I got a 2011 cascadia with relatively low miles and it's still in good shape, nothing broken or missing so you could luck out like I did. And of everyone in my orientation class I got the least expensive one. I'll post some pics of my truck once it's daylight

I'm hooked up to my trailer hanging out at the Iowa 80 till Monday to pick up my securement equipment. Like I said a few days ago I'm very happy with this company so far
