What are the most dangerous roads / mountain passes in the lower 48
Any one you don't prepare properly for. You can go too fast for conditions anywhere!
It may be Donner on ice and freezing fog or an 8% hill on a backroad in Monongahela, PA.

No this was way back in 97 IIRC. Lets just say the Fed ex and Buster Brown overnight box supplies where GONE that next morning as everyone raided them for cardboard.

LMAO now that's funny.

I280 around Newark has a few steep pulls for being east coast. Coming into pa on I80 where you meet 380 is a steep pull and can be quite nasty in the winter. NY17 between the harriman tolls and binghamton ny has some steep grades and they don't take care of it in the winter. I Only do north east regional so I don't have any experience with the big ones out west

Nah what was Funny was the idiot in Fargo the next day. He was from the Yukon Territory shut his engine off in -35 weather he said his last fuel stop had been in Texas he was heading for Canada to get back home. His Fuel lines had more Jell in them that a freaking 80's hair band. He was like I always shut off my engine to fuel it. I went even at -35 Fahrenheit. He then went HOLY CRAP that is cold. I needed a gallon of oil and just dumped it in while the motor was still running. It took the boys at the Petro shop 8 hours to thaw his truck out enough to get it to start up.

The shipper was Stantons in Walton Ny. I came in on 10 which to me was sketchy. Leaving I had one of those moments where you just have to see what's the other way. It may be shorter, nicer, etc. LST, I Rioja right and went state 206 to 88. Just plain ridiculous but I was coming out of Stantons which had a hill up to the street and it was dark and I was in a little hurry which was PB&J WITH MY MOMENT AND RIGHT I WENT. First grade up had to have been 9 of 10 cause 6th wouldn't get up it. On came at least 10 more grades no kidding. And last but not least a posted 10% down to 88. No turnarounds, two lanes. No snow though which I can't imagine it would be possible with. Anyone heard of that hwy?.....I hope not.
