Latest development: A former trainee/employee and one of my closest friends will likely be able to house The Hot Chick while I do recovery work for a few days. Inconvenient but workable.

No use getting outraged. If we can work it out for her to stay with me, great. Otherwise, she camps out with friends for a few days. It will work out.

Zoomy that last item about not having a truck for you is terrible. Hope you can use all your powers of persuasion to remdy the situation. If not call Steve Somers and tell the national audience after midnight just how Celedon operates.

Maybe by volunteering for the recovery work it will bump you up in line,or some folks will drop out waiting on trucks...

See, that's thinking like part of the solution.

Zoomie here's somethin to think about. Now I know you gotta company-drive for the insurance. Totally dig that. But bro from this side of the fence I'm seein a cat that is RAILIN' against the corporate environment you find yourself navigating. 27th in line for a truck. Goin out on repo patrol. Leavin the better half behind. jonesin for loads. Good grief man you and I both know this is no way to roll.

Look homie I'm not gonna give you advice or tell ya what you should be doin, I KNOW this is your chronicle and I'm enjoying the crap outta your journey. My problem is that I wanna be vicariously enjoying your triumphs, rather than shaking my head (and usually laughin a litte, can't lie) in sympathy.

Dude change your paradigm. There's more than one way to skin your particular cat. The answer is out there. (It's taking a supreme act of will to not tell ya what I'd do if I was you lol)...I'm seein too much joy in y'all's hearts for y'all to keep subjugating yourselves to a situation that I can PROMISE you is changeable.

    K nuff said I'm out.

The insurance bind is, indeed, sucky. I'm currently at a job that often causes me more blood pressure spikes than is probably healthy for anyone over the age of 30. Bright side is when I do have my heart attack/stroke (if I survive) I'll have the insurance to help cover the medical bills.

I'd really like to find a job working for a small, locally owned company instead of working for a big corporate entity. Problem is the little guy often doesn't have the ability to provide good insurance. Feels like a Catch 22.
