I found one that pays 82% in chicago

 

Still depends on the rate.
80% of 3.00 is a heck of a lot better than 82% of 2.00 a mile.( just an example)
Other things to consider is what does or doesn't the company cover. Plates,permits etc.

Are you saying the % comes out to 1.38 a mile.
Or are you saying 1.38 after fuel and fixed costs. 1.38 a mile to the truck is not good not even for an l/ o
