I've been working on creating a searchable database of trucking company reviews. It's hard to get a clear picture of a company when the reviews are spread across multiple threads in multiple forums, so this database would allow you to search for a specific company and see all the reviews that have been submitted about them.
It's very similar to what Indeed and Glassdoor have been doing, but with the obvious difference of focusing specifically on information relevant to drivers.

I'd appreciate it if you could submit a review of your current or previous employers: http://thetruckersreport.com/reviews/review/new
This will help give future users an example to follow, and I'd appreciate any suggestions you have.

Drivers can put any information they think is useful in the review, or pros/cons fields. If we start asking highly-specific questions it would quickly turn into a very long survey of questions they may feel are irrelevant, so I'd rather give people the tools and let them decide what to add.

The review format in its current form seems to be geared only towards OTR companies. Any way to modify it to include local, home-daily type companies? And is this open to all companies regardless of size?

Which parts feel like they're not inclusive to local companies? All points-of-view are appreciated, so let me know what you're seeing that seems discouraging. The Hometime rating is there because it's important to almost everyone who is OTR and Regional, and I figured that local home-daily types would just 5-Star it.
Yes, drivers choose what companies they want to review.

Thanks for the information. I didn't find it discouraging necessarily, I just wanted to be sure that i wasn't including a review that could be deemed irrelevant or out of place (just in case you had been planning to categorize all reviews); I tend to overthink things at times. I didn't know how useful a review of my company would be, since at this point, we have a grand total of 12 drivers, but with growth expected to 20 in our local operation, and plans to branch out to California with maybe around the same number. Thanks again, I'll get on it !:)

There should be a n/a or does not apply selection on some of the fields. For example, I'm with Mercer transportation, all owner ops, so maintenance doesn't apply to us because the truck and trailer is ours, we are responsible for are own maintenance.
Under dispatchers, we don't really have them. Our load coordinators only pass info along to us, it's up to us to take a load available or not. they don't tell us what to do or how to do it.

Same with the pay. it can be as little, or as much as you are willing to work.

weird, what's the error message you're getting? At what stage in the review process does the error message appear? Thanks for letting me know.
