Yeah Poly has a lot of changes they need to make, not just a few. The shop is the big issue. And breakdown, you're not paid for breakdown and the motel expense which could be up into the hundreds of dollars as high as $1,000 if you're there 4/6 - 10 days comes out of your paycheck and could be tied up with Poly for up to 4 weeks before you get your money back. That's on top of not making any money for being broke down at all in the first place. And just like in the casinos, sooner or later luck always runs out.

Well I guess I have just been on a casino heater for the last three years. With matching retirement grossed over 70k again without much effort. Some of you boys just need to put on your big boy pants and learn how to deal with the way things are at poly and work it to your advantage.

But you're on a dedicated run, which works for you, so your pay will be way different than an irregular route driver.
Few people want to live in a dessert, heck your electric bill (for the air conditioner) and water bill must suck

Only half of the year was doing dedicated, the other 2.5 was otr and it was the same thing. Water bill included in rent and electric never more than 150.00 in the middle of summer. Just saying that I would wager a great deal of money on a bet that I could make 75K plus at poly with the current set up and being home at least 60 days a year. A person that can't knock down 70K here either doesn't need to run real hard and takes a lot of time off, is a moron that can't figure #### out or is just an extremely unlucky person that can't manage to find a truck(s) that will keep running. I've paid for exactly 1 day of hotel stay in nearly 3.5 years, guess I'm living right .

Now I'm a moron because I made 8 or 9k less than you? These super trucking poly cheerleaders I swear.

Lol jk I know what you mean. I'm starting to get things down where I have the poly system working for me. It's pretty much stress free for me. I do get annoyed by back haul or outbound but more times then not it all works out.

Tucker when are you coming to poly? I know you want to.

    Poly looks better than Magnum.
Plus I like the Prostar (Maxxforce or Cummins) better than a Cascadia. I never had the regeneration problems some of you have,
The hometime looks great and the 8,000 miles a month is enough.
Crete is still annoying as hell,. plus I doubt I average 8,000 miles anyways.
Last summer with the Drivecam (at Crete) really made me just not care about them.
Crete's my 3rd job ever, I'm not much on jumping ship. If I did I'd probably go with OFS and be home every week and sometimes during the week, But now they have the Drivecam too :(
    Maybe someday
