Do you leave a message? My dad died and left me with all of his debt collectors. So I can't answer unknown numbers now. If you leave a message I can get back to quickly.

I used to haul concrete. Every once in a while a homeowner would describe what they wanted me to do with the concrete. I'd just laugh and say I can dump it in a big pile and after that it's all your! Usually I'd end up taking the load back... After they paid the full price for it. Common sense isn't so common.
-
Can you take it up my driveway? No.
But how am I to do it alone? Phone.
Phone? What phone.? Really lady?! Call for help!Giuseppe Ventolucci, Sho Nuff and Dominick253 Thank this. -
We get it a lot, but i usually don't---because i don't have time.
Now, if it's the last stop of the day and i'm not in a rush, then yes i'll call b4.
Now as far as customers wanting you to do this and that: Remember that some people don't want to do anything at all in regards to receiving their product. i had one woman (from a federal gov't agency, social security administration to be exact) wanting me to ASSEMBLE the chairs i delivered AND take the empty boxes away. Federal government workers i tell ya.......Giuseppe Ventolucci and Dominick253 Thank this. -
Not to get into anyone's business, but i thought when a person passes on, their debt goes with them. Doesn't get "transferred" to next of kin or anyone else?
Now, if you WANT to pay it off fine. But i don't think you're under any obligation, legally or even morally to do so?Giuseppe Ventolucci and Dominick253 Thank this. -
True. But I'd rather keep a $300+k house and pay off $10k in debt.

Yeah, I hate it when they think your free mobile warehousing dedicated just for them. A lot of times, especially with P&D, you just can't give an ETA or a PTA, and some of the customers will leave a note on the door, asking you to drop their delivery, where I then just take a picture of the note, drop their load, and then go to my next stop.Giuseppe Ventolucci and Dominick253 Thank this.

A rare few of our regular consignees are always flaky about when they are available to receive...we actually have some who give written permission to deliver without signature....Hell, I even let myself in and use their forklift to unload if no one is around.Giuseppe Ventolucci, Dominick253 and Big Don Thank this.
-
You are much easier going than I am, when they finally made up their mind to unload me the next morning I would not be there.Ruthless, Dominick253 and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this.
