Poly Trucking What you need to know !

I did okay , are you talking , gross taxable or total with Per D ? I'm a little over 50 , gross taxable 39k or so. And it's fine I'm in N KY in a county with less than 10,000 people. Avg household median is just under 30k. My wife works too. So we do well , Could I make it on what we make in lets say MA. ? Probably , but we would be living on a tight budget. And I do mean Tight , but we'd make it. Here we still put away for retirement , plus build a savings every year and have additional Federal withheld so the tax return is nice. Plus I work only about 23 days a month so yeah , best otr gig I ever had , allows me enough home time to actually put stress on the marriage. Which is good if we stay together long enough to retire we won't divorce 6 week later. "MAYBE" that is.

 

I just look at gross** ... but you make the important point,
what truely $count$ is when everything is said and done
is how much went in the bank and the 401K for the year.

So i can't complain

i will be certain once the tax stuff is complete.

 

10-4 , hey it's so bad for us that we pd cash of 5k for a 50ft long bridge connecting our 2 pieces of property. Looks real nice , that was in Early Nov. still was able to take good care of our kids and their's and my parents for Christmas , Go up there for 3 days stay in a nice hotel , and both of us had 2 weeks off , one had 3 weeks off and it wasn't her. I was just 1 week of actual vacation time. There is something that likely help us a lot. We don't smoke and we don't drink , we're home bodies 95% of the time , but the 5% we decide we want to do , we can no problem.

 

One last thing , are you still here or did you move on ? I'm thinking you went else where in like Dec. Am I mistaken ?
