If you do a lease you set your hometime or should I say your truck payment sets your hometime

Thats right. The truck payment dictates hometime if you want to keep afloat. He will have to run like 30 days and then take 2 days off unless he can land a dedicated gig.

A shiny new truck isn't a reason to lease. Your gonna see less hometime then if you stayed company. You should rethink this plan of yours.

I'm actually looking at a 2013 Volvo 670, 532 a week for 15 months and then a 30,000 balloon. That's leasing on with USA. Then financing the 30,000 for 2 years, so I'd own it in 3 years pretty much.

I don't see a problem per say with the lease but the pay structure at usa is not good enough to meet your standards. Again don't lease from any company that doesn't pay percentage you need 1.30 plus a mile to live good and make a lease payment. That 1.00 a mile crap is barely living

Why would you want to lease a truck from someone that does not let you pick your on freight. At least at Schneider Choice you get to pick the freight that will cover your exspenes, you get to go where the best paying freight is at.If you want to be a company driver paying for his truck with little control over your own destiny then go with USA or Swift. If you want to be a business man or owner one day go with Scneider or Landstar.Do more research.Check Jeffery Like,Ike Stephens,Truckerscoach, and StillhawginTv on YouTube,They have great info on Schneider Choice

I agree with Travisroland here. I chose Quality Carriers, but the lease program with Schneider was a close second. Schneider is a great company with a lot of benefits for an L/P. And the way you want to run - 14 out and home 3 or 4, you will make good money. Just my opinion, but that Schneider Choice program is the cats ### right there

Again I wanted to run 14 TO 17 days out and 3 to 4 home. So it just depends on what I can afford.

Also is Schneider a no money down??

I was going to lease a 2014 and there was no money down. The colors are going to be limited on the used trucks, but the dollar bills are the only color I was concerned with. Lol. Check out a little bit about their trucks
