Oh believe me I do agree with you, drivers should always read signs and keep eyes moving at all times.unfortunately today's trucking drivers don't do that and not taught that either.I know a lot of what happens is zero common since but if companies stressed how important it is to read signs and keep eyes moving at all times we wouldn't have so much stupidity.today's drivers don't think they just drive.they don't have back up plans instead they do the unthinkable.I bet that Werner driver seen the no trk sign and chanced it anyway.I hope that wrecker charged Werner alot.stupid ignorant drivers and motor carriers are even worse.what we see on our roads is from poor training starting with the schools.it's all about money and nothing more.but I also question that, how can carriers make a good profit paying for wreckers all the time and huge mechanical bills from something a driver did.these carriers deserve it all.
Another old bridge vs.Werner

True,we all do make mistakes but the same mistakes happen over and over and over and over, there's absolutely no excuse for it.I blame the carriers more for turning newbies loose before they re even close to being ready.DustyRoad Thanks this.

Meh, who cares? This story is unworthy of my time, but was I was reading couple of paragraphs at the bottom. Said drunk driver caused an accident. They should of focused heavy on that and took 100 pics of that idiot. But apparently taking pictures of big rigs being stuck, is more popular.
DustyRoad Thanks this. -
Yeah.....why all the fuss over a dumb trucker getting stuck.....maybe the media has an agenda to make us all look bad!

LOL!!!
Ya, no
Driving for 10 hours you dont loose your awareness to physics and spacial awareness that bad...at least you aint supposed to, lol... -
This Driver actually blew through three signs ignoring them all. About 1/2 mile before the bridge at Gamco Place there is a sign that says "NO THRU TRUCKS" and on the same Post "WEIGHT LIMIT 20 TONS", at GAMCO place there is a sign with arrow pointing to "TRUCK ROUTE" where it should have been obvious the road was getting kind of narrow, and before the bridge there was another 20 ton weight sign.

Sorry, I just went back and looked at Google earth, their is actually two "No Thru Truck Signs" one "Truck Route Sign with arrow" and two weigh limit signs. So she actually ignored 5 signs (four different places on the road.) I wonder if Werner is goinig to keep her as a driver?
