You can lead a horse to water......
Most people won't listen to experience or common sense. They have to make their own mistakes, some over and over. It's %'s of time behind the wheel. Keep doing it wrong and it will catch up to you. Do it the right way and it can still go South on you. The difference. You know in yourself.

This thread reminds me of the George Carlin bit where everyone driving faster than you is a "maniac" and everyone going slower is an "idiot". It’s all relative!

I've heard drivers ask why our drivers are always "speeding". Our trucks are the slowest company trucks I've ever driven; they're governed at 68. So when we go by a 62mph truck, it appears as though we're speeding. Not so in a 70 mph zone, but we appear to be "maniacs" nonetheless!

A couple of weeks ago I had the cruise set on 67 between Billings and Livingston. I passed by the same truck 4 times. Every time he would run out in front and then the next thing I know, he is behind me again. I finally passed him going up the hill between Bozeman and Livingston and that was the last I saw of him. Speeding does you absolutely no good if you can't keep the left door closed. And this was what? 100 miles?

Sure it was, you ate it...lol

Know why beer and Taco Bell food goes through you so fast? Because it does not have to stop to change color or consistency.

Not sure but I don't make any distinction between the two.
In "my view" laws are laws and last time I checked it's called against the law when we break them. After all, people do get killed out here in traffic accidents which I believe are avoidable. That's a very good reason to obey them.

Interstate trucker ticket attorney service always wins for me . They keep tickets off my license by going to court . I had open road prepaid legal service . At my last job . Going to court on your tickets is part of making a living as a truck driver . These legal services pressure the attorney to win or else they are not going to get anymore customers.
