hi drivers just a heads up i 15 in vegas is starting huge rebuild project this year

    so heads up the project will last 3 plus years and will mess up every thing only way around will be 95 or the 215 beltway with the amount of traffic it sees everyday I can only wait to see what happens the part that gets rebuild is the middle part past all the casinos . for me have not drivin a truck for the last 20 years but still like to keep in touch and your right I will not post much but I love reading this every day so keep on trucking p/s it has started on both sides already as your driving on I 15 look on both sides of the highway all the houses and buildings are gone look funny

    they're rebuilding 4 miles of the spaghetti bowl. 5 year timeframe at a cost of 20 billion dollars. It was supposed to have started last year.

    That's what the road dog channel said. It was 5 years and $20 billion. It was about 18 months ago when the project was announced. The project was supposed to begin early 2015.

    Living in salt lake and being a frequent flyer to the commie state. That announcement stuck out loud and clear.

    They should build a north side belt route around the whole city. That would make,more sense. I hate that section of highway, but I do like the dedicated lanes

    I hope at the end of the project they keep the HOV lanes available to big rigs. It's been a real pleasure running through Las Vegas, even during rush hour, since you are well away from exiting and merging traffic. More major cities should copy Las Vegas's use of HOV lanes.
