Just get a factory 500 hp s60 .. If will pull fine and empty smoke the accert on fuel mpg .. I pulled 100'000 lbs for 4 years with a 98 fld on 2 lanes I rarely got below 6.5 us mpg in winter unless I idled a fair amount on today's LSD fuel it would be 6 or so.. Only thing you may dislike is jakes are far weaker than a accert
Pricing a new glider at Fitz.; $10,000 more for 14L Det. and N14 Cummings ???

Yeah but what did you think of the 12.7. I have no intentions of a Freightliner ever.
-
I'm going to but everyone says nobody can touch Fitzgeralds price. I think they have it down to an assembly line science down there.

We get 120,000 miles a year and am keeping the old truck, want to add another. No one likes to get out of a horse and have to ride a burro is what I'm afraid of.Last edited: Feb 3, 2016

They want $10,000 more for N14
-
No the 12.7 is $10,000 cheaper
-
OK I got it backwards. It is still apples to oranges. 12.7 vs C 15. A 12.7 can do a good job and still save you fuel money.
-
No better MPG than a well tuned ISX 05 deleted egr 9+ mpg
spax Thanks this. -
Are you replacing your old truck?Maybe build your own glider using your stuff, save some money.
