TheTruckersReport, has rules of arguing, and know when to say when. Im sorry drivers if I crossed the line arguing here, I got out of control, which im not suppose to do. We are suppose to support and help each other on this forum, and Im definitely no ecception. I apologize for my rudeness.

You avoided answering the question and simply relied on attacking me individually... Just because I prefer autos... That's my point... You know nothing about me other than my preference for a type of transmission... Petty and shows no strength of your argument.

    Stay Safe,

I enjoy driving the autos so much I made them a deal... I drive for free and they pay me an obscene amount of money to hook a king pin, bump a dock, and complete some paperwork...

    Sounds about right.

Uh... autos can certainly down shift... I slip it into Manual, press a button, it drops a gear, and RPMs go higher... Easy.

you need to watch it. this guy has been doing this extremely complex and complicated job for really long he has such a deep wealth of knowledge nobody else stupid enough to not do the physical act of shifting yourself could ever comprehend. Also he has a perfect driving record, solely of course due to him having a manual transmission, had he drove an auto he would have had so many wrecks. and no, an auto is just an auto, there is not a clear mode on the shifter that says manual for when you need to control the rpms and gear you are in, nope doesn't exist. Lets all just accept he is the best.

Thank you for pointing out the errors of my reply... I certainly didn't mean any disrespect... I do hope no one thought that... I was just replying with the limited knowledge of my overly simplified, and hazardous truck... I am just beside myself with embarrassment now... To think my simple, and yet naive, comment could possibly be misconstrued to be anything other than the insecure rambles of a simple steering wheel holder... Oh my... I fear I have overstepped my lot in life.

Oh, and I just got a notice from my company... if I have just one more avoidable death due to my inability to control my auto, they will be replacing it with a standard shifter thingy and sending me back to a refresher course for my CDL... This time in real trucks... No A/C, no jakes, no power steering, no FM, no electric Windows, no powered mirrors... Oh my...

Please pray for me that I survive it all.

    DC843 Thanks this.
