I'm assuming you take what they give you until you have the seniority to be picky.
Doubles are easy though, sure you can't back up, and of course the wind can make you feel like a slinky, but they corner like a #### Ferrari lolbottomdumpin Thanks this. -
P&D pulls more vans, linehaul is almost entirely doubles. But, sometimes P&D drivers will pull a set or a single pup, and as a linehaul driver I've already pulled 48' and 53' vans from time to time. This is pretty much across the board.

Seniority doesn't mean you can be picky. Seniority gives you some choice with runs during bid time, if your terminal has bids. The driver's job is to move the freight. You pull what they tell you to pull.Texnmidwest and CasanovaCruiser Thank this.

Did a double turn to the same location last night. Both trips I was set up to come back with long boxes. That was a rare treat.

TequilaSunrise Thanks this. -
You bid on shifts, not trucks
