@pattyj Third driver was the one that ran into the back of the truck in the first clip... First one, jacky?, slowed/stopped, then the driver behind him, with the dash cam, slowed/stopped, then the third one ran into the back end of the driver with the dash cam.

If I was throwing anyone under the bus my wording would have been a lot worse.I looked at the video twice I did not see any traffic ahead of the first driver and from the video it did not look like the traffic in the other lanes slowed down so I thought jackey was being an ### delibrately slowing down.
-
Check out the drivers who just keep driving instead of getting out to help after that white truck became imbedded in the rear of the 2nd truck.
-
Not sure how I would handle that situation. Really don't know much about CPR and medical stuff. So, I think I would be a hindrance on a scene like that. Might be better for me to ease around and get out of the way. But I'd probably hit the shoulder and see if I could do something such as help keep traffic away or something.

I don't understand your post; are you referring to the second video showing them separating the two trucks? If so, there are already emergency/recovery crews on site. The only thing somebody else stopping is going to do... is be in the way.
-
Just because you can, doesn't mean they want you there.
-
When it first happened there wasnt any emergency vehicles at the scene. You need to look at the videos again. The truck with the dash cam gets hit by the white truck. What you see in the second video is emergency vehicles cleaning up the mess long after the driver is taken to the hospital. Right after it happens you see trucks driving around the crash and then continuing on.
-
So the guy in the white truck doesnt want any help before the emergency vehicles get there? Oh, ok!
-
I didn't think it was the same accident in the two videos.
But if it is...or even if it isn't....what could you have done for the guy in the white truck ?S M D Thanks this. -
I know what you mean. At first i thought the white truck crash was seperate from the first. I would stop to see if he is still alive and to also check the sleeper.chico9696 Thanks this.
