yeah I always had the philosophy that I made enough money to pay someone else to make me food...
I understand why people avoid truck stops and like rest areas, but I prefered stops. Even now that I'm a local driver I'll still stop in to a truck stop on my route once every other week for a meal.hunted Thanks this. -

Don't get me wrong... A good sit down meal and unlimited cup of coffee are awesome... But it's not a daily blessing for this driver...
Everyone has their own personal preferences which is great... Variety is nice. -
A good portion of Loves used to be Pilots, pilot sold like 100 stores or something to loves. So yes, same idiot.

Since I live in town, I've never parked there overnight but have pulled in there to scale a couple times. It is really well laid-out and at least during the day they keep the bad element out. Just don't go walking around outside the truck stop, you cross 70 and that's a real nice part of town
