mmm so I got clocked at 67 on a downhill by some police guy hiding onto of the bridge as trucks go under. Saw him flying off the on ramp and knew he had to be hiding up there.

It's my first ticket. Says I need to appear in court by april 5th or get 6 months in jail. I'm from Tennessee. My question is how do i get out of now getting points on my licence?? Who do i hire to show up for me??

One of those "guard your CDL" attorney companies will be able to send someone to court for you. A more expensive attorney might do a better job but you'll pay the price obviously.

Odds are you're looking at getting the fines and/or penalty reduced.
When a friend of mine from school got a ticket his attorney got the points knocked off so it was reduced to a non-safety violation and he had to pay $450 instead of $200.

That ticket was in Jersey though.

Can't say I know anything about how California does things, that state is backwards as hell anyway.

The trouble with those companies that protect your cdl if you get a ticket for the cost of $2 a week, or whatever it is, plus their $100 fee per incident plus court costs/fines. The problem here is if he is not already in one of those programs and a paying customer they won't help him with that ticket. Otherwise it wouldn't be a viable business. It's like insurance. If you have no insurance and wreck your car you can't go purchase it after wrecking without it and get coverage for that wreck. His only real option is to defend himself in court or hire a local attorney to fight it.
