First call the court house see if they can let you off the hook with just a fine. A guy I know got let off in Colorado like that but he did have a clean record. I'm not sure about what attorneys to call there but you won't go to jail lol

What Court do you need to appear at? Is it city (municipal) or county court? You can search for an attorney that practices in that particular city/county and eliminate the middle man (legal service).

I got a 65 in a 55 in Sisikyou County just north of the Shasta scales. Turns out my attorney and the judge were fishing buddies. Was still found guilty, but the judge gave me six months to complete a traffic school course even though we're not eligible for traffic school. Dismissed, No points.

I got the feeling that these judges in the smaller jurisdictions don't like being told by the Feds how to run their Courtroom.

Could do what I did, got a 75 in 55 on 101 picking up produce, forgot all about it, and chose not to pay log ticket since I wasn't even driving when issued. Went to renew my license 5 years later, ca put a hold on it, called the court, and the lady said that they were over the 3 year statute and dropped them on the spot. Never cost me a dime.

Why is that sad? You can't beat 'em every time. I ended up with no points, no mark on my DMV record, I'll take it.

Look at the bottom of your ticket for the court location, then search for lawyers that practice law in that county or city.
