I just knew that you didn't need to run 2 logbooks, driver. Study up on the regs a bit. You can work things in your favor.

I appreciate that. Thank you, sir

And, off topic, @TripleSix, I've read a lot your posts in the flatbed section. You're a wealth of "how to" info
-
The rules of the game are run one legal logbook. Bull crap like what you are asking for is why the industry is having ELDs crammed down our collective throats. Any pattern of illegal logging can be used against you in court as an aggravating factor if you get into a serious accident - that's something you can't control.JReding, drvrtech77, Straight Stacks and 1 other person Thank this.

I do not like the fact you want to do something illegal! It is your kind that give truckers a bad name! If you can not follow the rules do not play the game. I am so shamed that you are one of my peers. If you want to do something illegal get into politics or something!JReding Thanks this.

you could have a co driver that got dropped off somewhere along the way.

just turn off the elog where you run out of time and drive to were you need to be come back to the same spot turn elog back on and you never left
Dexterr Thanks this. -
The next time someone complains that we are being forced on elogs we should link to this thread. Folks this is why.
drvrtech77 and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
If you need to be explained this then ,lol. Even if someone tells you you will screw up and get caught. I know how to do two logs (sorry, its common sense) but i have never done it and i never will do it. I am vehemently opposed to 14 hour work days. Those are Chinese sweat shop hours. #### that. Why would i want to add to that? If i was in your position i would call my dispatcher and tell him im out of hours. If he comes back with a "but but, cant you just....." " no. Deal with it." *click*
drvrtech77 and austinmike Thank this.
