They did explain to me that sometimes there isn't enough openings depending on the area you live in. They don't want to over crowd areas I guess. I live in the north east and they hinted that there was plenty to do up here and as long as everything checks out I should be good to go. I was just curious about how long the process takes. Like I'm sure if I applied as a company driver I would have already been in orientation, where as with this its taking longer because of all the things that are taken into account. Thanks for your response though, good to get a little more insight.

They basically explained to me that you need to be approved by Schneider National before Schneider finance would even look at you. Then they said that other then running Schneider National freight you would have no real dealings with them. Someone there also told me they have more applications then they have people to process them. Good luck to you on the 7th!

These weights they posts aren't accurate often, mainly if the number listed are rounded off.
Load I have now said 43000 and it ended up being 22,530 something.

    Schneider in general is slow.
They checked my credit also but it didn't mean much to them. SFI was more interested in what my living expenses are and more importantly what my expectation and motivation factor was.
In other words don't tell them you plan on being home every other day and expect to clear $3000+ every week lol.

This is where the experience comes to play. You have to know your AO.
