I just wanted to add that most people get that mixed up. I did till just recently when I had a guy at the FMCSA Atlanta office explain the difference to me.

 

I'll take your word for it, but it's tested for either way, correct?

 

I don't know if opioids are tested for. I don't think so, but I think they have a history of causing false positives for opiates.

 

The work history is so misinterpreted. Thanks for staying on top of that here. Our boss said in his last Audit they told him he only needed to make an (attempt) to verify previous employment. So if he calls and they dont answer he did his job.

 

No it is not tested for,They only test for "schedule l" drugs,codene,oxy,
vicodin,stuff like that is "schedule ll" durgs..Go read the FMCSA green book,about drug testing if you really want to know whats up..You can eat 15 vicodins,6 oxy and 10 codenes, 3 hours before a UA and still be clean..Look at a copy of your drug test paperwork too,its all on there what the DOT test for..If you come up positive for those things you took some other test,that was not a DOT test but something the company wanted..So always make sure you are taking a DOT test..

 

I did more reading, I think your right about everything except codine. Codine is a natural opiate and should show up the same as heroin

 

This just shows that drug testing is rediculous. Smoke some weed in your time off 3 weeks before the test and your screwed. But you can take, oxy, extacy, lsd or a number of other worse drugs at any time, and no one will know. What a joke

 

They know the difference between "natural" and "synthetic" in the lab, herion will have a different ambolic breakdown in your blood than codene,hince schedule l vs schedule ll..codene is much more weaker than oxy anyway, so you'ld be clean with ANY schedule ll,lll,lV or V Drug you take..

 

Weed is awesome sure wish l could take bong hits in the fast lane,while texting and porning on my cell phone as the rear axle goes all over the lane
