I take it those Leduc county loads permits are for over size / weight ?

It will be interesting to see what Gill does next. That fine has got to be some kind of record. The reckless disregard for public safety puts dump truck operators in the category of domestic terrorists but I'll bet he did not expect an overweight fine of such magnitude. My guess is that he will be folding his company and starting the terror anew under another name.

I almost T-boned one of their drivers during my Class 1 road test when he blew a stop sign right in front of me.

Yes. And you even need one to travel thru with a tridem trailer. We have a provincial tridem trailer permit.

I run super b grain trailers. I've been out Hwy 39 to Calmar. Or is this for secondary roads?

I found it, local roads only. I'll have to check our permits books. What a country, you can drive a legally loaded truck anywhere except any where we change our minds.

He drives super-b for a well known company here in BC. They run BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. They have all necessary permits for all 4 provinces.

He was 60,300kg the police officer said he was only good to 53300kg if he didn't have a permit. So he got fined for being 7000kg over. He was in the industrial park, and there wasn't any road bans in this area.

The Leduc DOT was probably named Brantd. He is a little shortass that uses his status for his lack of height. He reminds me of a dwarf.

The Edmonton patrols targeting trucks are a CVSA decaled EPS truck(s). I have seen them out at the acheson scale, at hwy 21, and other edmonton region areas. I rolled my window down and talked to one on hwy 21 at a stop light, and he said they are patrolling generally edmonton, and out to hwy 21, acheson and some other areas doing enforcement specific to trucks.

Part of what has come out since Gill was tagged, EPS added two more patrol officers to their commercial unit and are more active as a result.
