    First day of orientation, first thing was a little paperwork, physical stress test, physical and drug test

    Physical stress test was simple;
    Dedicated, 70 lbs, 53 feet 3 times. Take pulse to make sure it's not too high.
    Second part was moving the 70 lbs from floor to waist high shelf, to shoulder level height
    Third part was climbing onto a shelf simulating a trailer.
    4th part was a duck walk, all very simple.

    OTR;
    Only difference was one time with the 70 lbs. Not 3.

    Physical is the standard physical, sadly I passed everything but they want a sleep apnea test because of my bmi and neck size.

    Drug screen was a urine sample.

    Rest of day was info on hazmat, info on hours of service and info on sexual harrasment.

    We lost 4 people due to physicals.

    Other than that, the orientation instructor was cool, laid back and a good laugh. The motels are very nice, pool and hot tub on site. Only downside was the heater didn't work in our roo, so we had to switch. No big deal.

    All in all has been nice so far. Will update more as it comes. Day 1 complete!

    Day 2 was just more videos and information. Already all stuff I learned in school.

    3 people out of the 15 were hired.

    No one sent home.

    Tomorrow is winter driving and most should find out if hired or not.

    Last day was winter driving course with safety.

    Learned to put on chains. Had to physically do it to show safety we knew how.

    Was hired and headed home for a few days until a trainer is available.

    Let's get this show on the road!
