If your a new or even a driver for a company ,the e
Economy is grinding to a halt ,so when it happens . Google Aroow Trucking , then be ware to keep cash lots of it on hand and top off your tanks daily , because I believe this is going to take some of these trucking down and strand you the driver with no notice , they will shut off your fuel cards without notice ,they will not give you your Last check. So keep it fuel up when it happens drop the trailer and Bob tail to as close to where you live as possible. Once they shut down that load and trailer is not
Longer your responsility cause you are not being paid anymore. YOU MAY HAVE TO FILE A LETTER
LIEN ON LOAD TO SECURE YOUR FINAL PAYMENT. So find a attorney where the trailer is being dropped and find a secure parking place for it like a pay to park or wrecker yard or inpound yard. Try to keep your loads close to home as possible, ne v e r take a load farther than you can drive a half a tank of fuel from home.
The crashing economy

Question to your theory:
Why am I googling "Aroow Trucking" again? -
He meant Arrow Trucking Co. out of Tulsa, OK. They WERE one of the biggest flatbed outfits on the road. Unfortunately, after the old man passed, sonny-boy and wifey-poo drove the company into the dirt. Lots and lots of unpaid bills, many drivers went weeks without pay. Then, just before Christmas '08 (?), Arrow locked the doors and shut off the fuel cards. Office chimps came to work to find chains on the doors, and drivers were left stranded on the road under loads with no fuel. It was a real mess, and a lot of guys lost their shirts trying to get back home.
Unfortunately, the economy of '08 is not to blame for Arrow's shutdown. That blame lies soley on sonny-boy's shoulders for failing to meet his financial obligations and using the company as a personal piggy bank. But! '08 did lead to other carrier shutdowns and selloffs. Anybody remeber old Cannon Express? Or when Swift did a massive fleet downsize? The merger between FFE and KLLM? Or any number of smaller outfits and single truck operations that simply disappeared?
If things don't improve over the next month or two, we may see similar shutdowns and mergers this year. Rates have been bad, and only seem to be getting worse. And more and more of the old 'family owned' carriers may give it up to the corporates. Just not fun out here anymore.Rusty Trawler, rabbiporkchop, FLYMIKEXL and 4 others Thank this. -

Melton has arrows glass account. Melton sent me home from orientation because I couldn't tarp a 13'6 dry wall load using 8 foot drop lumber tarps.
