The crashing economy

I'm gonna jump out on a limb here an assume you have some personal issues with the current president, btw is totally fine, everybody has their own personal views....however I'm not sure how long you've been a driver but if you would really do REAL research you would totally understand that a president no matter who he/she may be DOES NOT calls the shots on the economy. I could care less who's in office because if you're not in that top 15% percent of people in America who are millionaires an you're working a 9-5 just like the rest of us then electing a president "you" personally think will change the situation at your job is hilarious.
What has ANY president ever done for the middle class man? I don't know about you but my insurance has always been expensive so let's throw that accusation out the window before its ever brought up. Sure bush gave out a stimulus package in which it was taken right back throughout the following year's taxes.
So again, I ask how an why are you using the president to support your theory if in fact, you've actually done the research?

Well... As long as folks need food, clothing, & personal items like deodorant, tooth paste, diapers, and tissue paper to wipe their butts, I have something to haul.

In the first of your posts I quoted...you said finally some unbiased substance, as if you agreed with the poster that it wasn't governments fault what the family did after daddy passed. Then on my statement about a door manufacturer that is buried with orders, you made note that if "all carriers closed their doors" he wouldn't be working....how is this government fault...makes no sense!
And now...your tirade about how the President has nothing to do with the economy really hits a low curious boil. It is the Executive Branch of Government that deals in foreign policy...in foreign policy is the governments ability to allow or disallow a US corporation to do business with and in any foreign country. This President, (and the ones before him) allowed our corporations to pull up tents and move their tax headquarters to foreign lands, stripping the US of corporate tax. This President has increased the corporate tax (thanks to the left Progressives) and not allowed the Conservative attempts to reduce the re-entry fee and get the corporations back to home soil. Now things are backfiring on the corporations who have moved out...with the China dollar being devalued, and the Chinese economy tanking...the bulk of the Chinese lending is being demanded from Chinese government and corporations (which are actually external arms of the Chinese government) and having the debt called to payment.

Obama-care has nothing to do with "health care"....it never did. The Progressives have wanted to get to a "one payer system" for years (decades), remember "Hillary Care"(?)....same thing! If they truly wanted to do something about the exorbitant costs of health care...why not go after the health care providers...mega hospitals, i.e. Kaizer Permanente? and others of the same ilk. Your Obama=care statement made me laugh! My son went to get his daughter her school shots, Obama-care didn't cover since it wasn't an "emergency"...so the bill was $900.00. After finding out that the insurance wasn't good, the doctor's office sent him a letter saying since it wasn't an insurance issue, and only a private/personal issue, the now deflated cost would be $280.00. Does this make any sense? NOT ONE BIT> the medical industry is raping the insurance company and the insurance community is raping the consumer.

Not a bit. We're still wide open. We just had our bi-annual drivers meeting 2 weeks ago. Sales are up 14% over last year with hiring and growth still projected strong.

Guess we'll see how it looks in the fall but the company is optimistic on growth.

 

Where should I begin,
Well as far the unbiased substance statement goes...that was meant for the very quote I posted it under. Unbiased clearly meaning you're coming from a neutral ground. There were no personal feelings involved in the statement.
But if you would've read the original poster's rant in its entirety before the staff editing then you would know the point I made about the presidency issue.
I didn't bring up government accusations the poster did!! I simply responded an asked what does the president have to do with his rant? Because if I can recall the economy hasn't been "on the upswing" for many many years now an correct me if I'm wrong those YEARS date back way past the current president. An as far as the "Obama-care" quote I'm not exactly sure where you took that from because it was never stated by me.
However I made the insurance statement(as a sidebar joke) due to people claiming that the reason there insurance is thru the roof is because of a president! When you an I both know that that's totally not true. I've been paying the same amount for insurance give a take 20-30 bucks for the past 10 years

An to kill any situation of beating a dead horse...lets simplify this...I mean we can go on & on about politics all day long like a dog chasing it's tail. Its politics. Nobody wins politic arguments.
So with that being said, I'll ask you the same question I never received an answer to from poster...why is the "the president/government" always the go to answer when things are falling apart in the U.S. ? People will make uneducated accusations about things they don't even have a clue on. If you're not a part of the millionaire club then why are you concerned about what goes on at the White House? Do you actually think Trump will look out for a guy like me or you? Heck no! An that's no knock to trump personally because as I stated in previous text, it doesn't matter who takes office but to sit here an actually think the decisions he/she makes will get all the way down to a middle class working man is far fetched an in between. Some People actually think that if he gets in office we are gonna see a tremendous shift in this awful economy. Well that may play a small part in it but it's mainly due to elections period. Nobody is spending big money an nobody is buying big right now.
The people that control big portions of American money are simply sitting on it an not putting it into circulation.


On another note: I do agree with you on your China statement.
