Its a storm in a teacup when they do drug tests they will allow for the fact that people do take certain prescriptions. Unless they have other issues with your work and are just looking for an excuse to make you leave you should be ok. I wouldn't worry to much about it.If you were some kind of sporting star that would be a different issue they are much less lenient on them because they are supposed to check to see if anything is enhancing to there performance.

Have you manged to prove your innocence yet ... ?
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Unless he has received supervisors drug and alcohol training he has NO BUSINESS in a 'reasonable suspicion' situation; you should point this out to the Medical Review Officer...just ask how to spell his name so your lawyer gets it correct on the subpoena....this sounds like an illegal test...thejackal and pigeon river trucking Thank this.

I bet you were prescribed promethazine/codeine cough syrup. I used to get strep all the time when I was younger and the doc used to script me that along with antibiotics. I wouldn't worry too much you should be fine

I'm surprised they're letting you stay in the truck.he will want you to explain the medicine.maybe get some kind of proof from your doctor let us know what happens,im curious to know what they do in cases like this.

Wouldn't need proof from his doctor as it was a prescription prescribed to him.

yes but did he tell the company when he got hired on?sounds like this company wasn't aware he was taking medicine before he started this company and didn't show them the medicine bottle which draws concerns with the carrier.
