night blindness

    yes that is exactly what i do. i have the light mounted low so it lights up the road and not the trees.

    The thing with the add on led lights is that they have no optics to aim the light output, they just have a bowl reflector like a flashlight. The same amount of light you see to the sides is also the same amount shining up, and down. They are annoying and blinding as hell to everyone else on the road.



    They don't make you look cool, they make you look like a tool. Same with the idiots who think it is cool too use led brake lights as rear cab market lights and leave them on all the time.

    And for you very special kind of stupid guys, there is the million candlepower Q-Beam.

    And pointing them down doesn't always do the trick either. At night, wet roads reflect that light like a mirror.
