Case?

No what I think you're saying is "It's impossible to get a lawyer who will take just my case" On TTR recently, Judge finds against Knight for 3.6M. Original plaintiff gets 25K. Plaintiff's lawyer gets 1.6M and the 2M left goes to however many folks worked for Knight in OR covering aprox. 11 years. They have 90 days to file a claim.

PTL has no documentation on escrow management or OOS protocol. Like many companies, they don't want to release escrow funds for maintenance until you have at least enough to cover a hypothetical issue, like turbo replacement or some other major repair. But when you have more than enough to cover a major repair, they only release about $2000 and take the rest out of your weekly settlements. If you are lucky enough to make any profit after the regular overhead, you'll see the maintenance charge back eat up that profit. Meanwhile, as your truck is in the shop and you may be staying in a hotel, PTL withholds your pay from previous weeks because you are OOS. It clearly states in your service contract (Section 3 Paragraph 3.03) that the carrier will not withhold your pay for more than 15 days. If your truck is in the shop for more than 15 days, this nonpayment seems to be a clear BOC. And when you formally request documents related to your pay, they refuse to provide any documents, which is another BOC (Section 3 Paragraph 3.04).
You may need to visit the KY Arbitration Board, as noted further in your service contract, to see if you should begin the litigation process. If you feel you have a solid case against PTL, go to the Calloway County Courthouse in Murray and you will will find where and how to file your civil complaint. It will cost time and money, but if you are willing, you just might have a case worth getting representation. Good luck! -
