I know u guys out west rarely deal with snow. But it's a huge topic right now at the yard. Always stick your tanks!!!!!!

I bring back loads from there
plant Thanks this. -
That's the one. It was actually a pretty good place to go. The only bad thing I just remembered was they had this really narrow platform scale with rails on each side. Anybody else had to deal with that?plant Thanks this.

Yup I use to work there pulling raw oil from the port got really good at getting on that scale lol. But man driver's were always tearing trucks up on that scale. Now I work across the street pulling fuel So no more scale.

That's because they have those fancy smancy extra sensitive probes in the tanks that they don't want us fuel haulers damaging with those sticks.
I've only been to one Costco that stuck for water but the on site employee did it with their own stick.plant Thanks this. -
That was the first place I regularly picked up at when I first had my license. I rode with another driver for a few days around Fresno that showed me how to haul fuel. But the company sent me down there to get oil by myself, and I remember the first time dealing with that scale. Luckily I never rubbed it.Cali kid Thanks this.

Last night I'm sitting at a double left turn lane to head back for another load. This suv pulls up and the lady in the passenger seat is signaling to toot the horn, so I do. Afterwards she has the biggest smile on her face and is looking towards the back seat she then gives me the thumbs up. I'm assuming she had a kid but I couldn't see since the rear windows were tinted. I tell you what to see her smile and the thumbs up made my stressful night that much better lol. It's not often we drivers are treated like this by most of the public but I still find it pretty cool when we are.

Yeah, I was leaving the rack (in a bad part of town in my area) and these two little girls were walking with their dads. This little girl makes eye contact with me and starts doing the 'honk' signal at me, she's making eye contact at me, so I'm like, I'm going to honk this horn as crazy as possible. I honk the country horn for a solid 15 seconds as I'm passing the little girls up. The adults burst into laughter, and a few idiots driving next to me start road raging because they thought I was honking at them, so they started honking back at me. But to be clear, this was probably the type of honking that would get one fined for disturbing the peace. It was so excessively long ... and I thought, that kid's going to remember this for a long time.Canned Spam, White_Knuckle_Newbie, BentleyB and 1 other person Thank this.
