Only you know what's best for you . Most would say %. But if you can't pick the load or negotiate the rate , what good is 70% of $1 compared to $0.90 cpm?

Average dry van rate is right around 1.88, give or take. Depending on whose data set you use.

So 65% of tha is 1.22. Account for 10% deadhead and you come in around a 1.09 all miles on average for percentage. So what's the difference between that and .95 plus .14 FSC on all miles?

The difference is you. Do you have above average ablilites to find, negotiate and manage freight? Then you might do better than average ... if you don't? Well it's average because some don't even do that. Which are you?
