Saved From Scrap

Older vid I did last spring. Still need some more photos and videos for part 2.

 

I had enough motivation this morning to go out and look at it. Snow's almost gone now. Unfortunately I smashed my thumb yesterday and am having a hard time handling tools. I just took some frame measurements as I'm probably going to get the steel shop to fab me up a pair of frame inserts in the next couple weeks.

 

Went snowmobiling instead.

 

Spring is finally here. Made a little more progress today. Didn't have much time since I spent a whole day working on my pickup, fixing a lot of little things that added up over the winter.


Removed the visor, bullet lights and air horns. The last owner appears to have an obsession with clear RTV silicone, electrical tape and blue scotch connectors.



The roof is going to need some attention. Wherever the paint is missing, the fiberglass is cracking and deteriorating.
