So you think truck drivers are judgemental huh?better think again, the entire industry is judgemental.Doesn't matter how mellow the drug is under no circumstances you do not smoke or take any illegal substance simple as that or suffer the consequences.trucking has the most laws out of all the professions, either follow them or get out of trucking.oh and it doesn't matter what job you take most have drug test and theyre all judgemental.
Am I done??

THC metabolites in your system won't make you drop dead at the wheel. Ever. Obesity might though, with increasing likeliness every year. Something to consider, for the holier than thou crowd.
Badmon, DTP, Mikesee and 1 other person Thank this. -
AWESOME REPLY!!!! My thoughts exactly!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!! -
I used to before getting into this as well. Maybe not stop judgemental people, but it would stop all the super drug testing policies as most places that aren't "safety sensitive" will give you a pre employment and then that's that don't ask don't tell. Besides there is numerous ways to cheat on a urine test so if someone really wanted to do more serious drugs that wouldn't stop them.

I would say the companys drug policy dictates where you fit in any testing pool. My company has the same rules, if you are listed as a driver, your bound by driver rules. He must be insured to drive company equip or he wouldnt be in there pool. He had to know he was a qualifed driver. And choose to risk it. His call. His concequnses. Dosent matter what anyone thinks about the polices. We all know what they are.Lonesome Thanks this.

That's the thing! I was NOT qualified to drive due to the fact that I didn't have enough experience. So if I'm not qualified, why should I be put in the pool!? It doesn't make sense

You would have to go to the compay for that info. Somebody put your name in the pool. And it will probably take a lawyer to keep it off your record. But do me a favor, dont go with the "i will quit when i go back to driving b.s." ex smoker here, no i dont consider pot, "hard drugs" or any of that ####, BUT your a grown ### man. Deal with you choices, and if you cant take a little heat from some truckers on the internet, probly shouldnt tell ANYONE that you did this. Maybe try to get your record clean, maybe go sap maybe both. But nobody forced you to use a drug you KNEW was ilegal. It is what it is. Move on. Cuz all your gonna get here is either "you were screwed" or "you had it comming" luck to you
