Trucking,,,,It aint NASCAR,there is no checkered flag,no finish line,no victory lap AND you are not the second coming of Dale Earnhart,,,been watching too many drivers follow cars and trucks WAY too close at highway speeds recently,,just amazes me of their stupidity,,keep your distance and keep rolling,,keep it close like NASCAR and destroy your career and maybe kill someone,,,no brainer

Also, fuel islands are for fueling, not 30 minute breaks.

This is very true, sad part about it is people are stucked in their ways and won't realize the danger until it's to late.

I had a guy literally do a NASCAR move on me Saturday on the i80 salt flats leaving SLC heading into Nevada. Dryvan guy comes at my tail at 75 and right before hitting me lunges into the left lane. I was doing 65 and I could see his mad angry tired face as he neared my tail. While passing me on the left he starts throwing his hands up and probably yells out BS. In my head I'm thinking.. What the hell is effing wrong with this ahole. There were no trucks or cars, behind or ahead of me, middle of the day, perfectly clear road. I tried gunning it but my truck only reached 67. I was going to call the weigh station at the state line but I was low on my 14 and I had to make it to the Pilot. Point is, guys out there like pulling these sort of tailgate stunts on other semis.

I think we should all stop picking on tailgaters. They suffer from ARS, a condition that is reaching epidemic proportions.

ARS is Anal Remora Syndrome - symptoms include an overpowering urge to sniff fecal matter from the back end of objects in front of their nose, separation anxiety if they are too far from an anal orifice, and morbid fear they will be unable to maintain a given speed without a leader of the pack to show them the way.

I had two of them yesterday form the same company. We have a trucks in right two lanes only law in this state and these idiots were going around traffic any which way they could doing 80 cutting people off. I looked at their company's info and found out they are a typical fly by night company with a few violations and two trucks. I really pissed me off that they were acting so reckless. I guess when you register to take Uship freight, it reflects on the crap drivers you hire.
