If thats the case, then as i and you have said, go the lawyer route.
-
You're assuming facts not in evidence. Regardless, in most cases there isn't anything the employer can do about it unless there is some direct affect on the employee's job performance. I understand the ability for employers to fire employees for almost any, but not all, reason(s).

I'm saying all those places will not allow smoking weed.they may not give a drug test But they still will not allow weed simple as that. They all still have the right to give rabdoms if they desire.they re all against illegal substAnce.and if they have resonable suspicion they can give randoms. If the president got caught smoking a joint do I actually think he would be in office?street beater Thanks this.

No im siteing a example. Not fact. You really feel a employer can do nothing if a employee admits openly to breaking the law?pattyj Thanks this.

Remeber im actualy for legalization. I find pot to much less harmfull than drinking excc . But thats for another thread. This is about legal reality.Badmon Thanks this.

And a morality clause would be more than enough, "breaking the law is seen as not all that moral"pattyj Thanks this.

First off you need to decide what you want to do. Be a bong head or a truck driver, it is getting to where you can't do both. Right now there is nowhere to report positive drug tests except for DAC. In about 45 days get a copy of your DAC. If it is on it you got to do the SAP return to duty process. If it is not on it you should be OK. In the future the FMCSA is planning a MRO database to report positives, but it is not online yet. No matter what how about putting that crap down.pattyj Thanks this.

Ur absolutely right, but This would not be an issue if I w actually a driver for the company, lol. I work on the dock!
but I thank you for your input. Good Info. -
Bro, your a dock worker. Means you drive forks around. People get killed on a dock. All the LTL's here in Colorado require drug screen for dock positions non CDL. Why they have a hard time hiring cause a lot of people piss hot. They can retest you at anytime. Even in Colorado if your holding a Federal CDL you cannot smoke whether your driver or not it can screw you. Your CDL is Federal. If you wanted to smoke you should of got a job completely away from this industry or switched to a regular DL.
austinmike and pattyj Thank this.
