I was told by CFI that if you attend another school they wont reimburse you any tuition.I thought most larger companys did pay "part" of your tuition when you sign up or is this no longer the case?

I am talking to Christine now and am looking at starting school in Drumright on April 15th ( tax day must be an omen!) where do you recommend staying? After you graduate from school do you still go to Crowder?Have looked at a bunch of places to start and Conway/CFI looks like my best bet. Don't want to be changing jobs alot. Was at my last job 18 years until I just couldnt take any more.New job= new career=new skills to learn so am real stoked up about it! Anyway any advise I can get will help.

Conway's a good company but read recent posts saying there are currently 140 new drivers waiting for trucks . Plan on waiting at least 3 weeks without pay for a truck .

The fact that Conway Truckload has such a list speaks volumes about the way drivers feel about coming on with them, in my book. I drove for them for 16 months and didn't leave over anything they did.

Call up Vicki at the Lemon Drop.
It's probably the best of the places they offer. 4 bedroom modular home with a yard, TV/DVD player in every room and cable. Most of the other places you share rooms and such but Vicki's place was perfect. I think it cost me 400 bucks to stay there during school when I went. -
Thanks I will look it up and give her a call.
