I'm 21, been driving since I was 16. I lost my job and have been searching for local openings in my small town area. Last week my older brother who has also been driving truck since he got his license confronted me with an opertunity. He has a licensed, insured and ready to roll 2010 dodge 3500 single rear truck just sitting around. So if I supply a trailer we can get to hauling. We would haul hay/ and equipment for farmers and small business locally.
After only 3 days the truck has brought in roughly $1500 after fuel cost. He supplies the truck, I supply the trailer, and I do all the work. My question is how should we split the profits?

My company... 25 % to the driver, 15 % for the trailer. So you'd want a least 40%.

the guy above couldnt have said it any better, if your brother dispatches for youas well, then 40% at the least is fair, but if you find the work, do the work, supply the trailer, and all he supplies is the truck you definitely want to look towards more %.
