Are long hood trucks such as a Peterbilt 379/389 or Kenworth W900 harder to drive than trucks with a shorter hood? Some people say they are a lot harder to drive but theres so many people that drive them so they must not be very hard to drive. I've just always been curious with this so I was just wondering what people thought.

Longer hood usually means longer wheelbase . Longer wheelbase makes tight turns a little trickier.

So many variables there. A Kenworth W900L day cab will turn tighter than a W900L with a studio sleeper. A W900L day cab will turn tighter than a standard W900B with a studio sleeper. Its all in the wheelbase.

The bigger the worst for tight places but the sweeter to cruise on highway !

A long hood will definitely limit the amount of ground you can see in front of you.
