Inverter question

A PS4 uses 150 watts while gaming, most LCD tvs are under 100 watts.
That inverter should have handled it. Either one of them does not like a modified sine-wave inverter, or your wiring isn't getting enough power to the inverter.
You'll definitely need to run the truck while gaming or your batteries will be dead in about two hours.

450w inverters are the cheap crap they sell at wally world to charge your phone on not run an entertainment center

 

Now now Tucker... don't feed the trolls. Besides, the OP is eventually going to set his truck on fire with the setup he described. I'm sorry I made any attempt to help this guy out. I see a "gee my truck burned down and I need a new job" post in the near future.

The problem is the inverter, nothing else. It is cheap and not even a modified sine wave but a garbage wave inverter. With the TV coming in at a max of 150 watts, the PS4 averages 130 watts (150 with some games), plus the 4% increase in start up current on each (averaged out), the inverter should be just happy. I am guessing that it is throwing out so much garbage on the output when it is under load that they can't handle it.

Someone so inclined to throw together a setup that can start a good fire should listen to the critics.
