Right now I'm at a toss up between shaffer/abilene/TMC..
I'm thinking I'd be happy to stay out at least 2 weeks at a time, (that said, Abilene's NE regional sounded pretty attractive.)
I do like the straight up pay-for performance that TMC offers...

I'd go with Abilene doing coast to coast.
Shaffer trucks are too slow and I don't think they have apu.
TMC is ok for flatbed, but the easy money is dry van with Abilene.

2 weeks at time, then another two weeks, and maybe another two weeks for good measure. Then you'll get a day or two at home before doing it all over again.

Hello, I started at Abilene, after @Chinatown included it with four others for me to check out... I was just hoping to find a place that wasn't a mega carrier... I assumed that Abilene would just be my "starter company" and I would move along after six months to a year... But I must say, I like the place and plan on sticking around a bit longer.
Great Equipment, Awesome Loads, Lots of Miles... Simple and straight to the point.
I'll drop you a PM here and you can ask me anything you want about them.
Stay Safe wherever you land,

If you like the NE Region you will love Abilene... They pay an extra 10 CPM for that area and many of those regional drivers are home every weekend too... Or so I hear...
Where do you live?
