Bait & Switch Hiring Scam

It used to be the newspaper, before Craigslist. Happened to me once also, but what they offered was still better than USA Truck.

 

seriously? you think it's the Koch brothers that cause people to be less than truthful on craigslist?

 

If the ad has pay amount in the title, and lots of !!!!!, I won't even open it

OP: It's an exaggeration. Not a bait and switch. A bait and switch would be more along the lines of them advertising for a driving job, making you think that you had a driving job, offering you a driving job, and then hiring you as a secretary. Companies always exaggerate income. Haven't you ever seen the signs on the back of trailers??

 

I applied for jobs on craigslist and the company says they are not hiring

i made 38,000 in 6 months from an add on craigslist. 1099 blue Volvo...lol...but i was wore out after 6 months ...only got 1, warning for not being current on the log book...

 

I also found my current job in the Bakken through CL.

I was working down in the Eagle Ford when I answered the add last May.

Then I got a call and talked with a recruiter, followed by a phone interview from the boss a week later and finally hired a week after that; all before I even left my previous job.

Because of CL I was able to earn $59,484 during the last 6 months of 2015; paid hourly.

So...good jobs CAN be found on CL
