Well your right it's your connection. My ps4 and 27 Inch tv only run tops 250 watts. I have a 1500 watt inverter and I can run everything, fridge tv laptop and ps4 for under 600 watts. But my truck also idles too so not sure how long the batteries would actually last running that stuff.
(Side note, my ps3 alone ran almost 500 watts)

How bad of a driver you have to be to only have 500 bucks after staying out 2 months? I put 250 per WEEK into savings as a company driver. That on top of paying bills at home, eating, and having a little play money.

Run the jumper cables to the truck parked next to you.
White_Knuckle_Newbie, tucker and Knucklehead619 Thank this. -
Sounds like a good way to get a good ol fashioned passionate ###-whoopin.

If not that, tie the things to something solid on the truck and drive off.

I have a feeling it is just pushing that cheap inverter to its limits and the jumper cable connections sure do not help.
I have a 15 year or older 500 watt inverter that plugs into the 12 volt outlet in the sleeper and runs my 32 inch tv and blueray player....It has worked in every truck I have tried it in.
With just the TV on I can watch it for hours and not run the truck.
I don't even know the brand of it...It is just about the size of 4 packs of smokes....no fan or anything but works really good.
Like the other guys are saying....be careful! You may go up in flames one night!
